My name is Rizki from Indonesia. I am a friend of Diah, the manager of Nadi Gallery, Grand Indonesia, Jakarta. Once we have met for a brief while I picked Diah up in the front of Grand Indonesia.
Diah told me lot of thing about you and your artistic works. I have also seen your blog and video channel. I like your work a lot.
Probably you have heard about OK. Video, Jakarta biannual international video festival organized by ruangrupa. Ruangrupa takes 'Flesh' as theme of the 5th-festival theme. OK. Video Festival 2011 conceives flesh as a metaphor of biological entity of the human body that transforms into digital entity (images, sounds, texts) through the advancement of audiovisual technology. More or less, it is about performativity on video.
The festival itself will be in 6-17 October 2011.
I am one of five curators of this festival. My program called 'Private-Public'. Focusing on private video in public channel. Regarding this matter, I am interested to your 'Friendly Video Grafitty' to take part in the program. Your work has a strong concept to relate on this issue. This is an informal invitation. If you agree to participate, I will coordinate with the committee to send you the official invitation.
I also believe that your presence and presentation are also important as well as your video. Thus I would like to know whether your time is available during this festival (6-17 October). If it so, i will try to find possibility with our supporting partner to invite you to come.
